Shekinah’s passion for growing the minds of children, regardless of their zip code, brought her to MSA in 2016. Shekinah has taught second grade for 7 years- 6 years as a classroom teacher and 1 year as an academic interventionist. Shekinah is passionate about making strong connections with her students and their families. She believes in every student that enters her classroom and tries her hardest to create a safe and loving classroom environment.
