Medical University of South Carolina

MUSC provides numerous services to MSA students including on-site medical, dental, and vision screenings and learn-to-swim classes as well as nutrition classes for MSA parents.

The City of Charleston

The support of Former Mayor Joseph P. Riley and the City of Charleston was crucial to the establishment and success of MSA. Mayor Riley orchestrated a transaction whereby the City Council agreed to purchase the site for MSA-Charleston and lease it to MSA for a nominal fee.

College of Charleston

A unique partnership with the men’s basketball team at the College of Charleston allows players to come participate in carline, recess, and lunch with students.

LAPS

LAPS provides weekly swimming lessons to our Kindergarten and 1st grade students and monthly swimming lessons to our 2nd and 4th grade students.

Porter-Gaud School

Porter-Gaud partners with our 5th grade class to participate in yearly community service projects. Older students from Porter-Gaud also volunteer to work with MSA students in the afternoon.

Ashley Hall School

Ashley Hall partners with our 3rd grade class to provide monthly swimming lessons, as well as exciting and educational field trips throughout the school year. Older students from Ashley Hall also volunteer to work with MSA students in the afternoons.
