Jenna Ramp Laubner (Mrs. Ramp) has been the visual arts teacher at MSA for the past 3 years. Before teaching art, she was a special education teacher for CCSD. At MSA, I was a 4th and 2nd grade classroom teacher for 4 years. Making the change to the art room has been one of the best decisions of her life! Her passion lies in helping students feel comfortable being their true, genuine selves and coaching them on how to express their feelings and thoughts in various artistic ways. Teaching students about history and cultures through art is something she’s very passionate about. Mrs. Ramp is from Milwaukee but has lived and taught in Charleston for 10 years. In her free time, she loves to paint pet portraits and landscapes, do home renovations with her husband, and hang out with friends, family, and her dog, Brewer. Follow her on Instagram @art_with_ramp to see student artwork and a glimpse of the classroom.
